The Encounter in Brazil â€Å"We go in there, and shoot the Brazilians down one by one and the job is all done.† Zeldon smiled, listening to his fellow trooper explain to the group, his view of the mission. â€Å"We are approximately ten km from the location,† yelled the pilot, struggling to explain details with the sound of the chopper in the background. Zeldon peered down, revealing the forest which was filled with trees lined so accurately he considered abandoning his perspective of the Amazon forest being a natural wonder. â€Å"Zeldon, join me, and your family is safe forever,† Zeldon could hear the voice whispering inside his head. Zeldon reached for his wallet and stared at a picture of his wife and daughter. It was his daughter’s fifth†¦show more content†¦The trees were far from artificial. It was a house with the leaves being the roof and the roots being the floor. If Zeldon did not hear the chirp of the cricket tree he wouldn’t be able to recognise night or day because of the leaves. Walking along the forest floor covered in thorny bushes Zeldon travelled along a north-westerly heading according to the reading he had taken in the chopper. As Zeldon made his way, he heard footsteps and after following it for a while he realised it was going on the same heading he was. As he walked faster he saw a familiar face talking to the locals â€Å"Manly, how did you end up here,† enquired Zeldon. â€Å"I fell short of the building,† replied Manly. â€Å"What did the local tell you,† questioned Zeldon. â€Å"He said the building was a military camp, and was not far from here,† answered Manly. â€Å"Did he say anything about the president,† asked Zeldon. â€Å"No,† replied Manly. The skinny, brown man guided Zeldon and Manly along the forest, but was also strong, throwing huge strong branches out of the way. He suddenly came to a halt and said something in Brazilian. â€Å"He said this is as far as he goes,† Manly explained. As they hustled along the forest, they heard someone barking orders in Brazilian. They crouched down and grabbed their M16, aiming at the soldiers guarding the camp. One by one each one of them fell to the floor covered in bloodshed.
